Business Development Manager

CIS focuses on infrastructure related solutions and services based on a fit-for-purpose Public or hybrid/multi-Cloud-strategy. These services are often performed in close cooperation with other business units within Capgemini with a blended delivery approach with Rightshore centers in Poland and India. This blend will make for an interesting sales environment where you can shine!

Your job in one paragraph

CIS provides services to its customers in the Netherlands from a broad portfolio, including:

  • Public, private and hybrid/multi cloud services, including cloud orchestration, cloud migration and cloud run. (See: Cloud Services)
  • Data Center Migration and Consolidation
  • Connected Employee Experience, the integrated way to access workplaces and service desk functionality. (See: CEE)
  • Service integration and process automation (See: SIAM)
  • Security solutions (such as SOC/Siem and Identity & Access management).

As Business Development Manager you are responsible for closing medium-sized (0.5M to approx. 10M Euro) assignments that are designed from CIS, but which can also include a series of multi-disciplinary Capgemini services from multiple Business Units.

You have the intention to really help customers with their business challenges and solve them through technology and brainpower.

You work from your substantive knowledge of the solutions and of the market needs. Because you understand what a customer wants to achieve, what is going on in the market and what drives our competitors and partners, you independently enthuse and, convince new and existing customers of the added value of our solutions based on the customer's needs. In addition, you inform your (sales) colleagues about new developments and about the possibilities of our solutions. As a result, you deliver added value in the various sales processes. Why this job is a good fit for you?

Required experience:

  • 5 years or more of experience in Sales positions, of which several years in a similar role
  • Proven track record in bringing in new logos and selling cloud-based IT solutions to existing logos
  • You talk about business and ICTproblems at board level, and can estimate which substantive consultants you should join
  • Knowledge and experience with multiple of CIS’s portfolio items

You are a networker with both internal and externally oriented persuasiveness, and you have excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages in speech and writing.
