As an FPGA Firmware & Board Designer you are designing, realizing, testing and maintaining FPGA Firmware designs for high tech and high-performance products. Furthermore, you contribute on defining the next generation of these products in close cooperation with the electronics designers.

Why this job is a good fit for you?

  • Bachelor or Master in Electronic Engineering;
  • You have 3 – 15 years of experience as FPGA design engineer working in multidisciplinary teams, with experience in: designing simulating and testing programmable logic firmware, the use of VHDL, Technical knowledge of Programmable Logic and digital design in general, high-speed communication and IP blocks, measuring equipment, scope/ logic analyzers;
  • Embedded programming is nice to have (C, Python);
  • Broad technical knowledge of electronics with basic knowledge of physics, mechanics, mechatronics, and software;
  • Experience with Matlab HDL coder, Verilog is a plus;
  • Experience with board design is a nice to have;
  • Highly proficient in FPGA design languages and tools (Altera/Intel and Xilinx) like: VHDL, System Verilog, UVM, Questa Sim, Modelsim, Quartus, GIT, JIRA, MATLAB/SimuLink;
  • Initiative, pro-active, speak-up when needed;
  • High motivated team player with good social- and communication skills;
  • Accurate, systematic approach, analytical, problem solving;
  • Persuasiveness and decisiveness;
  • Fluent English in word and in writing.
