"As Industry 4.0 / Connectivity Consultant in our team, you will be working in complex projects for our clients in various industries such as Life Sciences, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing and Logistics. Together we overcome challenges around digital transformation within the IT/OT domain. You will advise, design, and implement process improvements in the field of Industrial Automation. We are making use of cutting-edge technologies in the fields of IIoT, Edge computing, data engineering, artificial intelligence etc. A challenging role, where we are looking for individuals who like being part of interdisciplinary teams and enjoys travelling (internationally) to factory sites when needed. In short:

  • Acting as system integrator by installing and configuring solutions and implementing connections to brownfield equipment;
  • Consulting about solutions for IT/OT integration, getting data from machines;
  • Collaborating with clients and vendors to map the ‘as is’ situation and design a strategy toward connecting factories and equipment;
  • Having career perspective toward designing Cloud Infrastructures, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

Why this job is a good fit for you?

  • You have experience with connectivity between level 1-2 and 3 systems (e.g. KEPware, Historians);
  • You have strong knowledge about PLC/SCADA and communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT);
  • You have knowledge about network infrastructure (LAN);
  • You have an educational background in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering or Data Science within manufacturing.
