Create the integrations central to driving the digital performance of the world’s largest corporates.

Government authorities and the world’s largest corporates use highly advanced custom applications. And these require complex integrations. A major headache for our clients’ IT departments, but not for you! As a MuleSoft developer at Capgemini you connect multi-cloud and on-premises solutions to optimise our clients’ digital processes. You will be working at the forefront of technology in an environment dedicated to continuous learning, personal development and helping others with theirs.

Your job in one paragraph

As a member of our agile project teams, you work on the API-led integration of digital platforms in complex ecosystems using cloud applications such as Salesforce and SAP. To this end, you translate business requirements into the best possible solutions. Using MuleSoft, this includes reusing existing APIs and applications, mapping, writing code, testing, monitoring and management. If you’re already a MuleSoft Certified Developer you will also be the Project Lead’s and architect’s technical sparring-partner.

Your home base at Capgemini

You will join the Integration Cluster, which is part of Custom Software Development (CSD). At CSD, hundreds of colleagues develop and manage sophisticated custom applications. You and your fifty colleagues of the Integration Cluster integrate these applications in accordance with MuleSoft best practices. What makes us strong is our amazing, international mix of men and women, who continuously share knowledge and ideas. We really like to get to know each other and find the time for fun activities, such as our BBQ. On top of that, a personal counsellor will support you with your development. And depending on your experience, you will either be mentored by a team member, or mentor more junior colleagues yourself.

  • Cold feet? We don’t get them. That’s why we offer you a permanent contract straight away.
  • All You Can Train with no strings attached.
  • Generous holiday pay and plenty of time (26 days) to spend it.
  • A noncontributory pension scheme, so you’ll be looking back fondly at your time at Capgemini.
  • Work where you like on a device of your choice and our connectivity allowance.
  • Your first necessity of life as a Capgemini professional: a fast laptop and a SIM card that you can also use privately.
  • And, of course, an appropriate salary. Let’s talk about it!

Why this job is a good fit for you?

You thrive on creating complex integrations and the pressure of these projects does not unnerve you. Working in agile project teams, you put your communication skills to good use. And you’re fluent in Dutch and English, as you’ll be contributing to local and international projects. You also write clear technical documentation. Taking ownership, you contribute to impressive team results. To you, travelling is an incentive, as you will often work at the locations of our clients.

You also have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an IT-related subject.
  • Experience * of MuleSoft or similar technologies and protocols. We can’t possibly name them all, but you may think of REST, RAML, Apigee or WSO2.
  • Knowledge and experience of Anypoint Platform and MuleSoft best practices.
  • Experience of API design sessions, sprint planning and quality assurance.
  • MuleSoft certification, or the motivation to obtain it at Capgemini.

*) We’re looking for developers at junior, medior and senior level. So, if you can’t quite tick all the boxes in terms of experience yet, not to worry. If you think this job’s a perfect match, we’d like to get to know you!
