Senior Penetration Tester

For the Agile threat, protection & response chapter within the Cybersecurity unit, we are looking for experienced penetration testers to strengthen our team. We are looking for someone who knows all the "ins and outs" of pen testing. You work in different projects to help our clients to take next steps when it comes to pen testing. You take responsibility for your own work, but you think it is just as important that we as the Capgemini team deliver a fantastic performance!

Your job in one paragraph

To properly protect information, organizations need to know what risks exist for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. In your role, you support our clients in identifying vulnerabilities and associated risks to the security of networks, systems and data. In addition, you have a coaching role in guiding junior/medior colleagues and you like to keep expanding and improving our services.

As Senior Penetration Tester at Capgemini you help organizations to gain insight in their vulnerabilities and risks. With the help of your knowledge you identify vulnerabilities and make clear how they can be abused and what the associated risks are. You advise on how information can be better secured and what organizational or technical measures are required to do so. You work for leading clients and are able to clearly explain IT security challenges to your clients.

As Senior Penetration Tester you advise, alone or in a team, leading organizations about the strategic, organizational, operational and human side of IT security. Projects in which you participate can be in the area of:

  • The execution of various IT-security investigations including penetration tests, phishing simulations and Red Teaming;
  • Creating security awareness with our customers, for example through awareness sessions and hacking demos;
  • Performing (partly) automated vulnerability scans;
  • advising on all aspects of IT security, both technical and non-technical.

Why this job is a good fit for you?

As a Senior Penetration Tester you are proactive, driven, analytical, creative, commercial, entrepreneurial and you enjoy working in a team. In addition you have/are:

  • a passion for information security;
  • a minimum of 5 years work experience in this area;
  • a completed HBO or WO education (bachelor), preferably in a technical direction;
  • relevant certifications such as OSCP/OSCE certification or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience with well-known tooling such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus and Wireshark;
  • ambitious, proactive and curious: you dare to think differently and you want to continue learning
  • enthusiastic about coaching colleagues and leading projects or carrying out projects independently;
  • commercially driven, you spot new opportunities in the market, work with the client from proposal to report, and take the lead in setting up new services and improving existing ones;
  • a good command of the Dutch and English language orally and in writing
  • a pragmatic and customer-oriented attitude.
